About GAC
The 2025 Great American Cleanup will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025. This event will run from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM around Collier County beaches and other waterways. As the organization gears up for the event, site captains have been confirmed for the following cleanup locations:
- Barefoot Beach Access
- Clam Pass
- Delnor Wiggins Pass
- Haldeman Creek
- Jolley Bridge
- Lake Trafford
- Naples Pier
- Rookery Bay NERR
- South Beach on Marco Island
- Tiger Tail Beach on Marco Island
- Vanderbilt Beach
The Keep America Beautiful® Great American Cleanup® is the nation’s largest annual community improvement program in an estimated 20,000 communities nationwide, spearheading local efforts by Keep Collier Beautiful and its partner organizations. The community-wide cleanup brings together volunteers, local businesses, and municipalities to support Collier County’s unique environment. Through ongoing partnerships, Keep Collier Beautiful helps support litter prevention, education, and community cleanup programs.
Keep Collier Beautiful beach cleanup events are perfect for the young and young-at-heart. Volunteers are encouraged to bring friends, family, and coworkers for a fun and meaningful project. Volunteer service hours are available for pre-registered students.
