The Marine Industries Association of Collier County (MIACC) has been a driving force in promoting responsible boating practices throughout our region. As a not-for-profit membership-based organization, MIACC focuses on the responsible growth of the marine industry that benefits both its members and our environment.
MIACC works with educators and safety organizations to educate the public about safe and environmentally friendly boating practices. Through their advocacy, they help preserve boaters’ access to waterways while encouraging protection of our marine habitats. Their foundation arm is particularly active in environmental education, recently establishing the Keewaydin Preserve – a waterfront educational space that “inspires environmental stewardship and celebrates the historical and cultural heritage of Southwest Florida.”
Members of MIACC include boat dealers, manufacturers, service providers, charters, and marine contractors who are committed to protecting our waterways for future generations. By working with government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels, MIACC helps ensure regulations support both marine businesses and environmental protection.
