In celebration of America Recycles Day (Nov. 15), Collier County’s Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Division has teamed up with Collier County Public Libraries to help residents learn how to recycle right.

Visit the Headquarters Library or South Regional Library this month to explore informative recycling displays that showcase what can — and can’t — go in your yellow top cart. You’ll find helpful tips to make sure your recyclables are clean, dry, and sorted correctly.

By recycling right, you help keep our community beautiful and protect our paradise for generations to come.

Remember what belongs in your recycling cart:
• Plastic: bottles, jars, jugs, and tubs
• Glass: bottles and jars
• Metal: can-shaped items
• Paper & Cardboard: clean and dry only

Please avoid food waste, foil, plastic bags, and other non-recyclable items.

Have questions about recycling in Collier County? Visit collier.gov/recycles or email recycling@collier.gov for more information.

Let’s work together to Preserve Our Paradise — one recyclable at a time!
