Collier County is proud to announce its impressive achievement of ranking third in the state for recycling. This is thanks to the dedication and participation of local residents to help preserve our paradise. To build on this success, the Collier County Waste Reduction & Recycling team is offering free educational presentations and guided tours to promote responsible waste disposal and recycling habits.

These free presentations aim to provide residents, community groups, and local organizations with the tools and knowledge needed to properly manage waste—from recycling and curbside collection to hazardous waste disposal and hurricane debris guidelines.

More Available Free Resources include:

  1. Comprehensive Residential Guidebook to Waste Disposal and Recycling
  2. Trilingual “Recycle This!” magnet listing accepted recyclable materials
  3. Additional educational materials like signage and stickers
  4. Access to knowledgeable Recycling Coordinators

In addition to these free presentations, residents can explore the county’s solid waste operations through guided tours of the Collier County Landfill and any of the five Recycling Drop-Off Centers. These tours provide a behind-the-scenes look at how local waste is managed and the vital impact of recycling on our environment.

To schedule a presentation or tour or to request educational materials, community members are encouraged to email recycling@colliercountyfl.gov.

Let’s continue working together to Preserve our Paradise.
